Based on a sea-inspired pattern by a Japanese knitter. I split the basic design into 6 ever increasing then decreasing triangles to do the hat. Hat, bag and lining all knitted in the round.

I love the Scottish wool and their natural colours, reflecting heather by the sea (August in Scotland).
