Based on an iPad drawn design of Edinburgh Castle, taken down in Autumn 2017, this plate is at stage 2 of colouring. It is a joint artistic effort of IK (Imogen Kirknewton) where potters and painters join forces to create joint works of art – it is a pleasure to be part of it. This plate has been painted and bisque fired and will be bisqued again with the new reds and oranges and a pale blue glaze in the sky, pale grey for the rocks. I’ll let you know how it turns out.
